Love love love love this place. I always come back here when we're craving Kbbq. Cute place to go on a date. Meat selection is always good. Service is always amazing.
This is our families go to for Korean bbq. We try to visit 4 to 5 times a month. Really enjoy the all you can eat options and how the staff will tell you what meats need certain grills. Of course K-pop is always rocking. Love this place.
This place is worth a visit, but I think there are definitely other slightly better places in VA for KBBQ as there are so many in the area. There was a wide variety of quality meat selections and the sides were delicious and flavorful, especially the steamed egg. The service was a little choppy despite the restaurant not being busy. Still, the prices were around the standard you'd find at other places so next time I would probably opt for another kbbq place.
Found my new favorite Korean BBQ spot in Alexandria. Here's what I got for about $24 bucks within the 90 minute window allowed. All-you-can-eat salad, radish 2x, broccoli, kimchi, white rice, bulgogi and flank steak. It comes with choice of soy bean paste soups or X. Everything was perfectly pickled and seasoned. One note for the foodies: The flank steak is one of the favorites at the restaurant but I didn't like it, as I much more appreciate a marinated situation. I will try the marinated steak or spicy pork bulgogi next time. The bulgogi was deeeelicious and I ate every bit of it. I recommend you ask for the soup to arrive early on. It's delicious too! Snappy pickled veggies. Yum! Even the water was good!! Duke was my server and he cooked the meats for me. He was very attentive and just the perfect amount of friendly. Short wait to sit and food comes within milliseconds of you sitting down. I was there for lunch on a Friday and it was pretty busy. The place is reasonably priced and everything was clean. The music is pleasant, Korean ballads, and helps drown out the kitchen silverware slamming. This was such a great lunch experience!
This is a gem - $20 all you can eat Korean BBQ lunch! They have full service where the staff cooks the meat for you. During weekdays lunch time, it's pretty empty so eating there was a relaxing experience! The lunch menu is limited compared to the dinner menu, but for $20 we are satisfied with the meal and service. Highly recommend!!
This Korean BBQ joint offers a solid dining experience, though it falls slightly short of perfection. Despite being super busy, especially on weekends, it's worth a visit. The extensive selection of beef and chicken dishes caters well to those avoiding pork. Standouts include the bulgogi, brisket, spicy chicken, top blade steak, and marinated steak, with a unique Hawaiian-style preparation available for pineapple lovers. However, the sides were disappointing, except for the pickled jalapenos, and the soup lacked inspiration. Service was notably slow, with lengthy wait times for orders, especially for basics like rice and eggs. Additionally, the prices were steep, even compared to other upscale competitors. Despite these drawbacks, the diverse menu is a really good thing.
Deliciousness - 4/5 Happiness - 4/5 A good, above-average Korean BBQ that's. You'll find it's packed wall to wall on the weekends, always a good sign. I still prefer the Annandale joints (like Kogiya and Oegadgib), but this is well worth a visit too. There is a very broad array of beef and chicken offered, which I appreciate as I don't eat pork (and a lot of these places are very pork heavy). The bulgogi and the brisket - standard staples - were both very good. But particularly amazing (and unique) was the spicy chicken, top blade steak, and especially the marinated steak. For those lovers of pineapple, they also have Hawaiian-style preparation. I also can't commend the terra twister enough - a GIANT serving of soju and beer that you can have form a twister middle school science project style! Also, absolutely make sure to ask for the included melon/mango ice pops at the end, my kids still rave about it. So why not 5 stars? The sides here were incredibly underwhelming other than the pickled jalapenos. The soup was particularly uninspired. Also, the service was very slow. It ran about 10 minutes from order to receipt, particularly for things like rice and eggs. I know it's a big place that was well packed, but that's a long time to wait. Also, it was very expensive (moreso than it's also expensive competitors). But between the variety of foods and the awesomeness of the twister, I give it thumbs up!
